I've been bad and not posted anything for a few weeks. It's been crazy around our house. Mark is offshore on another research trip, and we've been going to visit families for the holidays.
So, that being said, here's an update for the past few weeks. Alyssa has discovered her feet. She is raising up her legs to grab at her toes. They haven't made it to her mouth yet, but it's only a matter of time now. She is also really focusing on her toys. She will look right at it, then reach for it. Sometimes she gets it, and sometimes she misses. We have also discovered her laugh. It is the cutest thing, even the ladies at daycare commented on what a cute laugh she has. As soon as I can figure out how to upload from the video camera, I'll post the clip. Another new development is that she is trying to hold her bottle. Every time she eats, she puts both hands on the bottle like she's scared I'm going to take it away. Then she'll put one hand on her forehead as if she's put out with me...it's so cute.
Last Sunday, we had a visitor....my college roomie & best friend Maggie came over and brought her little girl Kailey. Kailey is 18 months old now and into everything. It was a really good day of visiting. Kailey gave lots of love to Alyssa and Colby.

I know...sorry. I actually had to bring the camera to work to get it done.
She is such a doll! I love all the pics and it's so neat to see how she's reaching all the milestones like Renner. They are too of a kind! I can't wait for them to meet.
I love this blogspot and have created one of my own as well. I love Alyssa's laugh video and the "lizard, lizard" tongue shot! Too cute!
